We need some help here Btw - Does it matter if i have heidisql, and he has navicat?
Alright my friend has make a sever and wants to let all the admins into the DB, He made dif accts on the DB but when we go to connect to it it says we can not connect to the IP/hostname, If anyone has any idea Please help out

heidisql and navicat are both used to get into the database so it dont matter, make sure your friend or your putting all the info in right other whys i don't no why its not working.

Well Its also not just me haveing the prob there other people with the same prob :S
We did the hostname/ip He made us both accts but it wont let us log on. Does port matter? 3306 is what it was set to. Also what about databaces what do we put there? -sorry bout being a noob :s

Im not sure, maybe trying other ways would work im not sure i dont let anyone in my database.

are u trying to use something like hamachi to host ur db? or something like it?
when ur making users u should make the port 3306 make sure they have 3306 open on their comp. and make a username and password to your db. give them the host name username and pass.
cannot stress this. but u cannot! have people connect to a hamachi server db!

No No its not hamachi... But he made us acct on the DB thing but we can't log on?
