So I've seen the videos for "Cyrodiil in Skyrim!" and it leads me to question, why did the creators even bother modeling the land, and the water for cyrodiil? It's kinda odd, they even put in a white gold tower, it makes me question if at some point they are just going to add cyrodiil as downloadable content or some shit like that. Anyways thats just my rambling if you have any ideas as to why then feel free to tell me.

Why does a rainbow have so many colors?
Why do magnets work?
WHY IS THERE A QA ROOM WITH EVERYTHING IN IT THAT CAUSES IT TO CRASH?!?!
It just does.

Maybe it was purposely for modders. Bethesda DOES give their mod communities a lot of goodies after all.

This has actually been explained by Bethesda themselves. The land in those areas are modeled but have very little texturing and detail because there are higher points on Skyrim where you can see out into the distance and logically see some land masses and land marks. The tower is there so people can see it from the Mountains in Skyrim to create a more immersive game.

And this doesn't seem like a lame excuse to anybody else? They modeled parts of Tamriel that you can't even see from Skyrim's mountains. That doesn't seem suspicious to anybody else?

I really hate to break it to you, but many game developers that are creating games that already have established locations will create the other areas but not polish them. It's done all the time. A actual good reason of why they do it, I don't know, but if you have played any game and glitched out of the game play areas, there are many things that are modeled that you think is redudant or unneccesary.

Thanks but I'll just keep pretending they intend to expand the gameworld to all of Tamriel.
