Hopefully some of you have heard of this gloriously horrific mod for Half-Life 1. If you haven't, go look it up at:

Anyways, I'll be playing this tomorrow (wednesday) evening at around 6:30 pm Central time, 7:30 pm Eastern Time, 5:30 Mountain time, 4:30 Pacific Time on Twitch.tv

I'll post a link in the shoutbox and here once I'm up and running. This game is really fun to watch as it generally scares the shit out of everyone.

Already watched a livestream of another person play it.

Definitely is the greatest of mods for HL though.

Well... To be expected. I mean, they did wipe out everything of the original HL core except for some basic pillars and then built it up on scratch for Cry of Fear.

I've never played a mod of this quality!
I'm an enormous horror game fan, and I certainly think this is one of the scariest. If this broadcast goes well, or even if it doesn't, I'll be broadcasting other horror games (silent hill series, amnesia, penumbra, other mods).

Hmmm... would you consider doing an ongoing "horror games" series Astro? You could do play throughs of all the various horror games you play (I'd highly suggest posting links to all archived videos, so that people joining late can easily start from the beginning). We could have it as part of the news posts even, and start a whole SICKind "Let's Play" -type section (even if they're without commentary).

You'd have to come up with an awesome name for it though.

Oh and fyi,if you plan to play through the whole game as a kind of ongoing "series" of streams, I'd highly suggest linking the individual archive videos as they're made so that it's a quick list of everything someone should watch if they want to see the whole thing.

Actually I'd love to do this, and it'd be a good excuse to finish some games that I've been putting off. And I'm about to get a boatload of free time once college ends in a few weeks.

I believe it's scare corner or chill corner, but I'll rewatch and see.
