Heya! I have a ArcEmu server but I wonder if I should use that or something else like Trinity? I have heard it's better, but I'm not sure so I thought I would ask here to see what you guys think, since you always answer :3

ArcEmu is quite bugged but highly customizable. Trinity in the other hand loads most info directly from WoW's DBC files, and therefore is much less buggy (and also because of its' active developers, ArcEmu seems to have been abandoned a long time ago), but creating stuff such as custom NPCs or items is much more complicated than on ArcEmu.

I would go Arcemu for customizability, since compiling and doing C++ scripts is really frustrating, especially if you are going to do it yourself and have little to no experience with coding.
Trinitycore would be for Blizzlike or if I have a dev or I know how to handle Trinitycore so I get what I want.
Lua is an easy programming language that you can use to do stuff on Arcemu.
Its easy to create your own events, bosses, stuff like that.
On Trinitycore and Mangos on the otherhand you need to use C++, which is harder and rather complex compared to lua and you need to (re)compile the core every time you want to add a script or change it.
You also have the option to use smart_ai and/or event_ai.
This means that you can make NPCs do things, like with scripting, by database.
It can be difficult to figure out how to do something and it can be frustrating to handle the DB "scriping".
Arcemu wiki also lacks a lot, so creating custom stuff for it can be difficult at times.

Ok thanks for the answers! I'll definitely stay with ArcEmu, since it's extremly fun to work with imo =)
