I listened to enough dubstep during the time of dial-up internet.

I prefer jap techno to be honest.

That said, there's 1 dubstep I enjoy.

In all honesty.

I'm the type that hate techno, dubstep or any of the sub-categories.

But there's only one type I accept when it comes to it; And that is game music remakes.

My only favorites in Dubstep (or techno at all) is Ephixa's Zelda remixes.

Such as

I think this classifies as some kind of dubstep too, but it's probably the only thing I'll ever accept, because they managed to make James Bond sound better with it.

Dubstep have never been this classy.

From what I can hear it sounds like they're using proper drums. Which adds the element quite nice.

But yeah, I agree.

However Skrillix is a stain on the good name of EDM and needs to go die in a fire for producing such shitty music.

And I also like Madeon (thanks Crow for posting it here!), he's awesome. But Madeon is not dubstep afaik.

Only thing that qualifies as good dubstep is Burial and Mt. Eden. That, and the few original Pendulum dubstep remixes... Oh, and Ephixa obviously.

MLP kinda reinvented dubstep, most of it doesn't even sound like your standard wub wub.

Unless you're actually talking about the same thing as me, I was referring to the little My Little Pony addiction that basically took over the off-topic forums for a while. :p

But yeah, if you're thinking of the other MLP that comes to my mind, couldn't agree more.

But it sure makes your ears bleed after a while.
