Hey, Not sure what im doing wrong but when i creature a quest in the trinity core and try adding it to a npc doesn't seem to work, also when i tried choosing quest reward it doesn't appear in the inventory. Is this happening to everyone or is it just me?

Where/how did you create the quest?

Does the NPC have quest flag? (npcflag 2)

Do you have space in your bag when completing the quest?

Show the quest SQL?

I created the quest manually.. in the quest_template table, and yes the flag is set to 2.
Am i adding the quest to the npc correctly? I opened the creature_questrelation, and creature_involvedrelation tables and for the id i put the npcs id, and for the quest i added quest id. How do i share the sql file?

About the items not showing up after completing the quest.. Yes i have space in my bag still unsure why i am having issues

Get the quest in SQL form and paste it in code tags here, or use pastebin and post the link here.

If you have it in a file, open it in a text editor and get the text inside.

The quest should have Method set to 2 (or 0).
If it is at 0, the quest is just a placeholder (should be).
You sure your character fits all the quest's requirements?


I dont really know about the rewards, but seeing the SQL could help with it.

Min and Max level for the quest are 1 and 0. This could be a reason as no one can be above level 1 and lowler than 0 at the same time.
Change them both to 0 or 1 or something.

I also can not see any reward items at all ...

Ok i will see if that works, the reward items were for a different quest which i deleted but i intend to make quest later on that you receive rewards in. Il keep you posted.

Ok i fixed that problem. Now i am getting a issue with rewarded reputation. When i complete my quest it shows that green glow like when you level up in rank with the faction but it doesn't show in the reputation gained toward the faction.

What faction is 1173 supposed to be?
I cant find it in wowhead and not sure if I missed it in DBCs..
