I could make a post about non realtime rendering and all that, but I'll just say this looks good but the game won't match this gameplay cinematic.

Sure it does have amazing graphics and interesting new mechanics like no roles (tank/DPS/healer) and the dodging and all that, but NCsoft lacks one thing. They don't have experience in making good MMOs. It might be just that I'm not really interested in MMOs anymore, but while I was watching the trailer I didn't find anything interesting. Just looked like every other MMO out there.

Totalbiscuit is doing videos on Gamescom at the moment.
He will be uploading a 40 minute long PvE video, which includes character creation for Guild Wars 2, probably sometime today.
He also covered some other games from Gamescom if you are interested to watch.
He got an exclusive interview for the new gamemode in LoL (The Arathi Basin kind of gameplay) and it looks really good in my opinion.
Also had a look at King Arthur 2, Tera Online, an interview with Fat Shark about a game just announced called War of the Roses, and an interview and ingame footage play for Star Wars: The Old Republic in the Sith starting area.

Apparently it's estimated to be released in Q1 of 2012 (can't find sauce, sorry). Either way I just want them to take my money now. Looks awesome.
Anyone know if you can dodge while casting? I know most casted spells (or at least the Elementalist's) can be casted while moving but I wonder if you can dodge. Similarly.. can you dodge spells?

Most skills in the game are skill shots, so you have to aim your skills in the general direction of your target at least...
But I don't know about dodging spells.

As far as I've seen, spells are on a "semi-lock".. If you're within its "field" I guess I could say, it'll hit you, however you can roll/dodge outta it. Not like wow's complete locking system
