I didn't know that The Escapist Magazine had done a review on a demo from Bethesda in April, this year.
So for those of you who want to know more please follow this link:

Please comment here :)
Personally I am sure it will be launched on Steam as well. I'll get it there. If it doesn't then the PC version is definitely what I prefer over console versions!

I found that the other day too. I never should have read it, now I can't wait for it to come, but it's so far from coming in the first place.
The only thing I don't like so far is the changes with attributes/stats, but I think everything else makes up for that. :P

If i heard correctly a lot of developers from Dark Messiah are working on it, so if the battle system is anything like DM's then this game is gonna be golden, well it's gonna be golden either way, buy you know, more golden...

They use a system whereby you control each of your hands individually. I never played Dark Mesiah so I don't know what their combat system is like.

I think I just flooded my house with tears of joy after reading that...
I loved all of it, except for one thing. I liked how the environment leveled with you in Oblivion, I get their point but they don't have to go black or white, why not something in between? Like once you have visited an area it will level with you, but at a much slower pace or maybe in the menu alongside with difficulty you can control how fast areas level with you, from not leveling at all to keeping up with you.

I think it's fine that the world keeps somewhat static.
But it's not completely static though!
The different areas got a max level cap so that they can progress a bit, but not exceed a certain level. I would find it annoying if I at level 10 met Level 10 wolfs, and 20 levels later I would meet the same wolfs and not feel any stronger than last.
It would be very disappointing.
I had loads of these disappointing moments in Oblivion. Leave an area with a quest that is too hard, go out and level up, come back to find out that the quest is just as hard as before or even harder.

Yeah I agree, which is why I said they should go for something in between imo, but if the world is big enough then it shouldn't even matter.

Well don't forget, the game is probably going to be highly mod-able. So the things you don't quite like, such as the area-leveling system, will probably be relatively easily changeable to your own liking.
Unless they, for some reason, don't make this new engine they're building for the game as mod-friendly as the old one. That'd suck. I'd definitely still get the game, but that would probably end up shortening the time I spend addicted to the game.

I saw the Khajeet and jizzed in my pants... the scenery looks damn near real and just fucking amazing. I can't wait to beat homeless people to death, strip them naked and drag their bodies onto roofs(Because lets face it, we've all tried that at least once in Oblivion.) I want a shirt with the nipples cut out that has the Skyrim logo on it!
