I do! Mind my slight advertising if you will, but if you want a pvp server with decent mods.. Administration is okay.. Pvp and stealing are a go, but grief guards are on, just google Electronum.

I'd suggest multiplayer too, but can't really recommend PVP servers... In my experience they tend to create a hostile community based on stealing as much from the others as possible. On the other hand, creative mode servers get quite boring over time, so I'd suggest a survival server with no pvp and protection against griefers and thieves :)

PvP mostly fail because either they overdo the rules that limits just how PvP can be played.
Also, if it has regions and clans, the clan which is biggest will always be the dominating people.
Personally, never PvP on Minecraft. It's shit.
I tried a couple myself, I have to admit I enjoyed it from time to time, but ofcourse there were stupid donators who got perks, extremely limited freedom on what you may do on a PvP server (obviously to keep balance and whiners away. But hey, this is PvP. It isn't supposed to be fair.)
In otherwords, unless you have a good deal of friends who's up on the idea of playing on a PvP server, don't try it.
Personally, I'd say survival. It has just so much more to offer, and way more fun if you play with friends.
Or creative, could create your own adventure map of some sort and share with the people on the internet. It's a bit ambitious, but it sure is a good way to drain away time with friends and others whilst having fun.
