Already been used in the first Assassins Creed game ^^
Every single NPC in that game had it's own schedule to follow :)
I've been determined to buy this game as soon as I heard the series would continue. I didn't even care for the name of the game or whatever. The TES series is amazing and I've followed this development since the series was announced to be continued. Can't wait ^^

Alynatrill was amazed by the fact that they are giving every NPC a story and you said that Assassin's Creed had already done that and whether you deny it or not the only reason you would say that is to debase the fact that Elder Scrolls is doing it, so i pointed out the huge difference between Assassin's Creed doing it and Elder Scrolls

Your ability to interact with NPCs in TES is a vital element whereas it is not in AC. I pointed out that AC had already done it as in, the NPCs having their own schedule and life every day. I did not try in the slightest to compare two different game genres like you suggest I do.
It's like trying to compare WoW with Counter-strike. Seriously.

Why would I compare the Size of the world and level of interaction with NPCs in TES and AC when that was never my goal? All I did was mentioning that AC already had the system in place. I did not go ahead and try to compare the two games all I did was mentioning that. Geez.

You are obviously still missing the point.

I will stop derailing this topic as trying to explain something to you is like talking to a rock. Nothing comes out of it whatsoever.
On-topic:
Nice game and definitely looking forward to it.

You obviously lack the simple skill skill of comprehensive reading.

You obviously lack the simple skill skill of comprehensive reading.
And you obviously want to be right... I will not go on about who's lacking what as it's obviously an attempt to flame/troll.
The point was that the system had already been implemented in a video game, period.
The scale does not matter.
Sure, Elder Scrolls might require more NPC interaction and may have more(, I'm doubting this part tbh,) NPCs which require a "schedule" but it does NOT relinquish the fact that it had already been implemented.
The OP though, does not seem to be going on about a comparison between AC and Skyrim, so let's leave it at that shall we...

And who says the scale doesn't matter? you?

So in Assassin's Creed you are able to talk to all NPC's and have different word choices and with those choices unlock different choices and influence what the NPC thinks about you and how he'll act towards you? i don't think so.

The schedules referred to by Bethesda are for EVERY single NPC in the game (most are generated... so it's not that big of a deal), they want to add a day-night schedule to the deer you see wondering around the forests.
The dialogues are just scripted like anything else whereas what they do every ingame day is not related to their dialogue in any way.
A part of Skyrim that intrigues me is that there will be children in it.. I can't wait to see the modeling of those, as that's where most developers screw up with children.
An other thing is the fact there's dragons... Which, do what they want and attack random shit... Sounds interesting :D
Oh and battleshouts (orrr, dragon shouts)! :D
Can't wait to put this game in mah xbox360 :D
