could you make one for an ArcEmu Core?


I have the lua script setup but whan i Execute the npc from wow-v into the database it keep's saying unsucessful, I have had it go in once out of like 20 times and when i reloaded the data base it came out not as a teleporter but as a flight master, What am I doing wrong..? If anyone can help me it would be appriciated.

I was planning on it, but im too lazy to learn lua.

And my lua script turned out pretty long, since I do not know how to make an efficent one.

I can do it, if someone tells how.
It could also be converted by anyone, but not me.

Arcemu does not support DB gossip and gossip scripts to my knowledge (Does it?)

The lua setup?

I have not made any complete lua one and the one in the lua category (by me) should not be finished and has errors. (and is really simple and long)

And the existing (downloadable ones) are for trinity and mangos ofc. (not arcemu)



Im happy to help providing the data to make one or make it myself with some help about lua.

More support the better, but also more things to watch for.. (core updates ect.)
Though I have not recieved any bug reports or suggestions for ages..

I am going to try to make one in C++ for mangos next summer (probably).


I put a huge amount of time and strength to do this, so I want it not to stop here :3

When you place a SQL file inside your data base  ( Importing a npc, gobject , item ) from your SQL File then it adds it into the data base...

Anyways I still cant get a working teleporter npc + Script into my data base... I have the script for it - it's just the arcemu npc for the teleport script wont execute into the data base.

Create one in wow-v?

Its not hard to make a simple npc with gossip flag and script name..


Im not sure how any problems relating to a lua teleporter and/or its npc has to do with my thread that simply offers a Mangos and a Trinity teleporter.

If you have a lua script that works, I think it is easy to create the npc for it too.

None of my sql's are for Arcemu and might not do good and wont work properly on Arcemu (might delete something but not add anything).

I am just a bit lazy. I do have all the translated texts for the portal master, but it just takes long to apply them and I cant get it started :P

Its really astonishing to me that I get about 28 downloads every day.. O.o
I should probably improve the information on the site though..

I have been thinking on makeing something else, like some buff npc and such small things, cause atm I am just way too busy to create something big like the Portal Master. (belive me it took time to take the coords for example for 130 teleports).

Ideas are welcome.

Changed Portal master (teleporter) to use SmartAI on Trinity.
This fixes the buggy menus on newer revisions (they messed the gossip script system).
The teleport option creator is currently disabled.

This is not needed for mangos as gossip scripts work great on mangos.

This fix is also needed for the Jukebox, but I will do it later.

Ok, back here again.

I have now worked a lot today and finally finished up.
I Fixed the SQL to work on current arcemu structure, fixed the bugs that appeared ingame due to the SQL working only on older cores, fixed the lua to be for Luabridge, saved old LHA luascript to my computer, deleted it from the online creator and fixed couple bugs related to the top text display.

So, The teleporter for arcemu now works for current arcemu and Luabridge, but does not work on LHA anymore.

(also converted trinity jukebox to smart_scripts already)

Localization is now avaliable for Portal Master on MaNGOS and Trinity.
