I am thinking about moving one of my servers over to Sandshroud. Would like to ask a  few questions about the core.

Question 1: Is Sandshroud stable enough to be run as a arena pvp server?

Question 2: Does it work with the ArcEmu logonserver? I would assume so since it is ascent based.

Question 3: Does it support Lua at all? How about LuaHypArc?

Questions 4: Is the database good enough to be used as a straight Arena server without me having to go through and fix things?

1. It should be.
2. No clue
3. It has the Sun++ Lua engine last I checked
4. The database is not spectacular.

Sandshroud will support an Arena server.
Sandshroud and ArcEmu are not backwards compatible, you will have to use the Sandshroud logonserver.
We used to have a really shitty Lua engine, but recently I've been building a new one based off of LuaHypArc.
No. Definitely not a good database to use as a straight arena server.
You will have to update trainers and whatnot, but thats easy, you can copy trainers from a different DB or something.
Its not like its a terrible DB, its just not good.

Wait, Sandshroud has HypArc now?

Not yet, it has some of the item functions, but the other stuff is being worked on.
